Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychometrist to join our vibrant mental health team in South Austin. Patient ages range from 3 to 65. Your primary responsibilities will be administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, evaluating cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional status in order as directed by the ordering Psychologists. You will have daily interaction with patients, family members, and caregiver. Duties Competently administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests. Accurately score tests administered; may include objective personality tests administered by Psychologist. Establish good working rapport with the patient to ensure a comfortable and safe test environment to promote valid results. Provide a written summary of the patient's behavior during testing, including any interactions with the patient's parents or peers that may be observed incidentally. Serve as support personnel in administrative tasks relating to test procedures, charting, and supply chains. Intentionally keep up with continued education requirements and maintain a current professional certification. Other duties as assigned. WMS, WAIS, WISC-V, DKEFS, NEPSY, CVLT-C/III, WJ-A
Excellent behavioral observation and communication skills. Excellent time management, organizational, and communications skills. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks satisfactorily and with little supervision. Professional appearance and demeanor with both internal and external contacts.
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
