This is not a typical tech role. We are specifically building a supervised fieldwork pathway for candidates who hold a master's degree and are ready to pursue BCBA certification. If you recently left a school district position — as a teacher, special education professional, diagnostician, or paraprofessional — and you have been thinking about what comes next, this role was designed with you in mind. You bring the educational background and experience with children with disabilities. We provide the supervised clinical hours, the structured mentorship, and the clear promotion pathway to BCBA licensure. What You'll Do Deliver 1:1 and small group ABA therapy sessions to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs developed by a supervising BCBA Collect accurate session data using digital platforms Participate in regular supervision meetings (individual and group) Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the clinical team Maintain session documentation in compliance with Texas Medicaid and BACB standards What We Offer $18 - $22/hour based on experience and credentials BACB-compliant supervised fieldwork hours — accrued on the job, fully documented toward your 2,000-hour BCBA requirement Structured individual and group supervision provided by a
BCBA/LBA
at no additional cost to you Defined promotion pathway — from Behavior Technician to Senior Tech to BCBA-level clinical role as you advance Flexible full-time schedule with daytime hours (no nights, no weekends) Supportive, small-team clinic environment Hands-on mentorship from clinic leadership Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's or master's degree strongly preferred Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs (school, camp, clinic, or home settings all count) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred — or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire (we will support you through this process) Reliable transportation for in-home sessions Must pass background check Preferred Qualifications (You Stand Out If You Have These) Master's degree in special education, psychology, education, or a related field Experience writing or implementing IEPs, FBAs, or BIPs Currently enrolled in or completed a BACB-approved behavior analytic coursework sequence Former school district employee transitioning to a clinical setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) — strongly preferred given our El Paso client population About the BCBA Supervision Track Candidates with a master's degree who meet BACB academic eligibility requirements will be enrolled in our structured fieldwork supervision program.
