Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support and education to enhance the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy and management techniques. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Provide direct patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress, maintaining accurate documentation. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions. Collaborate with team members to assess client needs and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of client information. Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health. Experience Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques and behavior management strategies. Background in special education or related fields is advantageous. Knowledge of behavioral therapy practices and patient care standards. Strong data collection skills to track client progress effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
