In this role, you will work directly with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to help them develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. Your energetic and positive approach will inspire progress and foster independence in those you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while gaining valuable experience in the field of behavioral health. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect accurate data on client behaviors and skill acquisition to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Use evidence-based teaching strategies such as discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and prompting techniques Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and growth Collaborate with team members to communicate client progress, challenges, and goals effectively Maintain detailed documentation of session activities, client responses, and treatment outcomes in compliance with agency standards Foster positive relationships with clients and their families, providing encouragement and support throughout the therapy process Requirements Valid Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members Ability to follow detailed treatment plans accurately and reliably Energetic, compassionate, and motivated to help individuals achieve their full potential Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive!
