Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, to promote independence Support teaching sessions that enhance communication, social skills, and functional life skills through engaging activities Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, and families to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and interventions Follow all safety protocols and ethical guidelines related to patient care, behavior management, and confidentiality Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles is essential Familiarity with special education practices and patient care procedures is advantageous Ability to accurately collect data, document progress, and maintain detailed medical records using appropriate terminology Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required or encouraged Experience working within a healthcare or educational setting involving behavior management is a plus Join us in creating positive change through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
