Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where your passion for helping children and individuals with developmental disabilities will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental challenges. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute personalized care plans, fostering growth, independence, and improved quality of life for those you serve. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce problematic behaviors. Collect and analyze data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation for ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks. Support clients during therapy sessions and in natural settings to facilitate generalization of learned skills across environments. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records securely. Collaborate with supervisors, educators, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and progress tracking. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, behavior management, medical terminology, and special education techniques. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or equivalent credential. Experience working with children or individuals with autism and developmental disabilities preferred. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and data collection methods. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavioral interventions in various settings. Knowledge of medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health. Excellent communication skills and patience when working with diverse populations.
