Full Job Description Job Summary:
500.00$ Hiring Bonus!!!! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician /Behavior Technician to join our team. As an RBT/BT, you will work closely with individuals with behavioral health needs, providing support and implementing behavior management strategies in the home and community settings. Your role will involve data collection, assisting with treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Duties:
- Implement behavior management strategies based on individual care plans
- Collect and record data on patient behaviors and progress
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living
- Support individuals in developing social skills and coping mechanisms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with behavioral health needs is preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
Skills:
- Strong data collection and documentation skills
- Excellent behavior management techniques
- Ability to follow care plans and implement interventions effectively
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with behavioral health needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the clinical team
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
