As a BCBA, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will drive positive behavioral change, promote independence, and enhance quality of life. Duties Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies. Design, oversee, and modify behavior intervention plans based on data collection and ongoing progress monitoring. Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. Collect, analyze, and interpret data meticulously to measure treatment effectiveness and inform decision-making. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and maximize treatment outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient care, intake forms, and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality standards. Educate families and staff on behavior management strategies, progress updates, and best practices for supporting individuals with disabilities. Experience Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Strong background in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience conducting patient assessments, data collection, and developing individualized treatment plans. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards including HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with special education environments and behavioral health settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare professionals in a patient-centered approach.
