Job Overview As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster positive behavioral changes, skill building, and can enhance the quality of life for your clients. You'll work closely with a team of professionals to implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, ensuring that each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. What You'll Do Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Provide 1:1 ABA therapy focusing on communication, social, and adaptive skills Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to track progress and guide treatment adjustments Engage with clients in various settings, including clinic, home, school, and community environments, to promote generalization of skills Participate in parent training sessions and collaborate with families to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients using positive reinforcement and assent-based approaches Collaborate with your team to promote consistency, learning, and growth Basic Qualifications Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities (suggested but not required) Reliable, patient, and compassionate Strong communication and teamwork skills Must pass background check and have reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications (not required) Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques Previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with other developmental disabilities Strong skills in patient care, behavioral health, or special education practices Why You'll Love It Here We are dedicated to creating an environment where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
