Behavior Technician (Bilingual) Bilingual Behavioral Services LLC Alexandria, VA Job Details Part-time $26 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Bilingual Working with individuals with developmental disabilities Working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders High school diploma or GED Driver's License Cultural competency Data collection Working with children with disabilities Full Job Description Bilingual Behavioral Services is a small, BCBA owned company in the diverse Northern Virginia area looking for qualified individuals interested in working in the field of ABA and with children diagnosed with Autism and other Developmental Delays. The Behavior Technician works directly with the client providing direct services and receives biweekly supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services are provided in the home as well as in the community and focus on increasing functional communication while decreasing maladaptive behaviors. This is a part-time position and candidates must be available to work after school hours 3:00pm-7:00pm. Compensation & Benefits Work with small nurturing team Monthly stipend towards health insurance Competitive compensation $26 to $30 per hour Simple IRA Plan with 3% employer contribution Paid time off Initial and ongoing comprehensive ABA training program Biweekly supervision by a BCBA Access to materials for sessions BCBA supervision opportunities for those sitting for the BCBA exam. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma and experience working with children Valid driver's license and access to transportation Pass Background check Interest in working with children with different abilities Sensitivity to people of diverse cultures and backgrounds Responsibilities Implement Behavior Plan under the supervision of a BCBA Collect and document behavior data during sessions Complete session notes based on collected data Assist BCBA in graphing data collected Complete required training/testing for obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 3 months of hired Maintain regular communication with parents and supervisors
