The ideal candidate will work closely with children and individuals with behavioral health needs, implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is essential in supporting the development and progress of clients through structured behavioral therapy sessions. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or supervisor. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments. Assist in the development of skills in communication, socialization, and daily living for clients. Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality. Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to behavioral health care. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in special education and behavioral therapy. Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is advantageous. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of medical records. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members. A background in special education or behavioral health is a plus but not required. Join our team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve! You will also be eligible for a $250 performance bonus upon the successful completion of three consecutive months of active employment. To qualify for this bonus, you must maintain full attendance (no absences) and complete all assigned sessions within that period.
