Chesapeake, VA Job Details $22 - $27 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to support individuals receiving behavioral health services through applied behavior analysis and related interventions. In this role, you will work closely with clients, families, and supervising clinicians to help implement individualized treatment plans, promote skill development, and contribute to meaningful progress in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs as directed by a supervising clinician. Provide one-on-one support to clients in home, clinic, school, or community settings. Collect accurate data on client behavior, goals, and treatment responses during sessions. Assist in reinforcing positive behaviors and reducing challenging behaviors using approved strategies. Follow treatment protocols, safety procedures, and documentation standards consistently. Communicate observations and session updates to supervising staff in a clear and timely manner. Support clients with daily living, social, communication, and coping skills as appropriate to the treatment plan. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respectful interactions with clients and families. Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing supervision as required. Qualifications Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician or eligibility to obtain certification. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus. Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs preferred. Strong communication, observation, and record-keeping skills. Ability to follow direction, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing client needs. Reliable transportation and willingness to work in a variety of service settings, as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times. Preferred Attributes Patient, supportive, and motivated to help others achieve meaningful goals.
