Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your enthusiasm and compassion will help foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life for those you serve. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education while working in a supportive, dynamic environment both in clinic and in home. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and feeding to support independence Support clients during therapy sessions, educational activities, and social interactions to encourage engagement and learning Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop and update behavior management strategies tailored to each individual's needs Foster a safe, respectful environment that promotes trust and motivation for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; some experience or coursework in behavioral therapy, special education, or related fields is preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly desirable Ability to assist with ADLs and support patient care in a compassionate manner Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within specified timeframes Embark on a fulfilling career path where your dedication directly impacts lives.
