Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Part-Time (In-Person) Empowering Minds 4 Change, LLC - 5.0 Woodbridge, VA Job Details Part-time $23 - $27 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications RBT Certification CPR Certification Working with children First Aid Certification Direct support Full Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team on a part-time, in-person basis . In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, implementing behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Services are provided in person in the client's home, school, or community settings . Your primary focus will be supporting clients in achieving their individualized goals while fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide in-person ABA therapy services in home, school, and community settings. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes in accordance with treatment plans. Support clients in developing communication, social, play, academic, and adaptive living skills. Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote consistency in behavioral strategies and interventions. Maintain accurate session notes, treatment documentation, and client records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development activities. Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Qualifications & Skills Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification, if applicable). Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral intervention strategies. Ability to implement behavior plans and teaching programs as designed by a BCBA. Experience with data collection and progress monitoring. Understanding of special education and behavioral health practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with families and clinical supervisors. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations for in-person services . Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in ABA therapy, behavioral health, education, childcare, or related fields. CPR/First Aid certification. Bilingual skills are a plus.
