•We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals diagnosed with ASD, to implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support and education to clients and their families, fostering positive behavioral changes, and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Monitor and document client progress and behavior changes accurately in medical records. Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions and documentation. Collaborate with team members to assess client needs and adjust interventions as necessary. Provide patient care and support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Engage with clients using evidence-based behavioral therapy practices tailored to their unique needs. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism, is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health is a plus. Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and techniques. Ability to educate clients and families on therapeutic practices effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and reporting. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Previous experience in patient care or behavioral therapy settings is highly desirable.
