Aug 15, 2026 Job Description Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has opportunities for dedicated full-time Behavioral Interventionists to become part of our Elementary Therapeutic Classroom team beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative environment where staff work closely together to support a group of students with diverse behavioral and social-emotional needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply and expand your skills across multiple students with varying profiles, needs, and strengths. Pay:

$26.21+ based on experience We also offer Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training as a benefit EWSD offers excellent benefits including generous paid time off, medical and dental insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a retirement plan with up to 6% employer contribution. As well as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply: 1 to 2 years of directly related experience or training. Must maintain regular and reliable attendance in this school-based, student-focused position Ability to implement behavioral modification plans, provide crisis intervention, and manage aggressive behaviors. Ability to use adaptive technology. Dedication to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. Willingness and ability to be trained in restrictive behavioral intervention. Ability to read and interpret educational plans and behavioral data documents. Ability to attend an evening course on direct instruction and after-school training sessions. Bachelor's degree in psychology, mental health, education, or other appropriate disciplines is preferred but not required.
