Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract If you are a talented Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) looking to advance your skills in an educational environment, here's an exciting contract opportunity in a school setting near Johnson, VT! This role gives you the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals to provide individualized behavioral support and help students succeed both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience implementing behavior intervention plans, preferably in a school or pediatric setting Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Excellent communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Detail-oriented with strong documentation and data collection abilities
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one or small group ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Follow prescribed behavior intervention plans to support students with behavioral or developmental challenges Record and analyze behavioral data to track student progress and help adjust strategies as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to reinforce positive behaviors and promote student growth Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to continuously refine your skills
