Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Wolcott, VT. As a vital contributor, you will help foster positive behavioral outcomes for children and adolescents by implementing evidence-based interventions while collaborating with educators and other related service professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Active RBT certification, in good standing Prior experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in educational or behavioral health settings Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, students, and families Ability to follow and implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity Professionalism, patience, and a commitment to supporting students' growth and learning
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 or small-group Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions as outlined in individualized education or behavior plans Collect, record, and summarize data to monitor progress on behavioral goals Assist in the development and updating of individualized behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Foster a supportive, safe environment encouraging positive behaviors Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance the effectiveness of behavior programming Communicate student progress and challenges clearly to both school staff and caregivers This contract opportunity is ideal for those passionate about making measurable differences in the lives of students while building valuable experience within educational settings.
