Position Overview Spark Growth, Build Independence:
Join Our School Team for the 2026-2027 School Year! ATC Healthcare is hiring a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) for a school-based assignment in Kent, WA supporting a student in an elementary environment. This is a structured, daytime schedule with a consistent routine, working directly with a student and collaborating with the school team to support behavioral and academic success. You'll provide hands-on behavior support, implement behavior plans, track data, and help create a calm, safe, and productive learning day. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to an assigned student throughout the school day Implement behavior support strategies and plans as directed by the clinical/school team Collect accurate behavior and progress data (frequency, duration, ABC data, etc.) Support skill-building in areas such as communication, coping strategies, transitions, and classroom routines Assist with de-escalation using approved, trauma-informed techniques Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with school and ATC standards Supervision BCBA supervision hours: TBD (will be coordinated based on student/program needs) Requirements Active CBT certification (or applicable Behavioral Technician credential per WA/school requirements) Experience supporting children in school, clinic, or community settings preferred Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, data collection, and structured reinforcement Ability to stay calm, consistent, and supportive in high-energy moments Must be able to pass background screening and meet school compliance requirements Why ATC Healthcare School-day schedule with evenings and weekends free Supportive team and structured assignment Fast onboarding and strong communication from our staffing team Apply today to be considered quickly.
