Founded by a mother with lived experience, we provide ABA therapy, life coaching, and social-emotional support for children, teens, and young adults. Our mission is to move beyond "traditional" therapy by meeting families where they are—at home, in school, and in our sensory-friendly Kirkland clinic.

Pay Range:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour The Role The Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) is the "boots on the ground" of our clinical mission. In this role, you aren't just implementing a protocol; you are building a meaningful connection with neurodivergent individuals. You will work 1:1 with clients to foster communication, independence, and social-emotional growth using neurodiversity-affirming practices. Your goal is to provide high-quality, ethical care that celebrates the unique strengths of every child while following the individualized treatment plans designed by our BCBAs. Key Responsibilities 1. 1:1 Clinical Intervention •
Direct Therapy:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill-acquisition goals in various settings (clinic, home, and community). •
Affirming Care:
Utilize play-based and naturalistic teaching strategies that honor the client's autonomy and sensory needs. •
Crisis Support:
Safely manage challenging behaviors using approved de-escalation techniques, prioritizing the physical and emotional safety of the client. 2. Data Collection & Documentation •
Real-Time Tracking:
Use our EHR software to collect accurate data on target behaviors and skill progress during every session. •
Session Notes:
Narrative clinical notes that are objective, professional, and completed daily to ensure insurance compliance and clinical continuity. •
Progress Reporting:
Communicate effectively with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress or any necessary adjustments to the intervention plan. 3. Collaboration & Professionalism •
Family Partnership:
Maintain professional boundaries while providing empathetic updates to parents and caregivers at the end of sessions. •
Team Synergy:
Attend monthly clinical meetings and overlap sessions with supervisors to refine your therapeutic techniques. •
Clinic Stewardship:
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sensory-friendly environment for our clients. Required Skills & Qualifications •
Certification:
Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing. •
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; pursuing a degree in Psychology, Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus. •
Physical Stamina:
Ability to be active with clients (running, jumping, or sitting on the floor) and lift up to 35 lbs. •
Reliability:
Consistent attendance is vital for our clients' progress; you must have reliable transportation for sessions. •
