Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) Jobs in Maple Valley, WA - Join Our Team!
Important Requirement:
Applicants must currently hold an active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) credential issued by the Washington State Department of Health, or have a recently expired credential that can be reinstated. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applicants who have never held this credential. Are you currently certified as a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) by the Washington State Department of Health—or has your certification recently expired? Do you have a passion for encouraging, supporting, and motivating students? Are you seeking career-building experience in teaching, child development, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, or another helping profession? If so, we want to hear from you. We're hiring Certified Behavior Technicians to work with students ages 3-21 affected by autism or other developmental delays, supporting their success in classroom settings throughout Maple Valley, Washington. Join our supportive team of Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs) and supervisors at MindSource Center , where you'll gain valuable, hands-on experience that's transferable to any helping profession. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are deeply invested in your success, providing personalized mentorship and training in state-of-the-art behavioral practices. We use assent-based, evidence-based methods that respect dignity, connection, and autonomy—empowering both students and staff to grow together. Qualifications Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) credential OR recently expired CBT credential that can be reinstated Credential must be verifiable through the Washington State Department of Health Interest or experience in supporting children with autism or developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Please note: Applicants who do not hold a current or recently expired Washington State CBT credential will not be considered for this position.Job Type:
