Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a vibrant school setting near Puyallup, WA. This in-person role is available now through the end of the school year, covering a leave and offering a manageable weekly commitment of 10-15 hours. Your expertise will make a direct impact, helping shape positive behavioral outcomes for students and advancing school-wide initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification required Demonstrated experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) Skilled in developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Proven ability to supervise and support Behavior Technicians (BT) Prior work in a school or educational environment preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) for students as needed Develop new Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and update existing ones Oversee and provide guidance to a BT, ensuring fidelity in implementing a short-term behavior plan Collaborate closely with school staff, administrators, and families to support student success Maintain timely and thorough documentation related to assessments, plans, and interventions Participate actively in team meetings to review student progress and adjust interventions as required This contract offers the opportunity for work-life balance, with a schedule of 10-15 hours per week exclusively on-site, allowing you to focus your professional expertise in a meaningful and targeted way.
