Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dialysis Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of dialysis equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical equipment, attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to travel between our locations. Responsibilities Operate and monitor dialysis machines during patient treatments, ensuring all equipment functions properly. Maintain and calibrate dialysis equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer specifications. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on medical devices and equipment (DME). Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, utilizing hand tools and field service techniques as needed. Interpret schematics for equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Document all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care during dialysis sessions. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards at all times. Travel between locations Skills Proficient in maintaining, calibrating, and repairing dialysis machines and related medical equipment. Familiarity with
DME, OEM
specifications, and schematics for effective troubleshooting. Strong understanding of computer hardware related to medical devices. Ability to use hand tools effectively for equipment repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members effectively.
