Medical Equipment Field Service Technician (Entry Level Biomedical Technician) Full-Time Only (Primarily Weekday Daytime Hours — Occasional Weekends as Needed) Based in North Haven, CT Here's a paste-ready version: Biomedical Equipment Technician — Entry Level - Priority Needs We need a dependable, organized technician who can work independently in nursing homes. You'll go room to room, including basements, storage, and therapy areas, inspect patient-care equipment for accuracy and integrity, tag it, and document everything on an iPad in our software. The tasks are straightforward, but the environment is fast-paced and mentally demanding.Requirements:
a valid driver's license is required and will be verified. You must be professional with facility staff, comfortable with iPad-based documentation, and consistent about following procedures. This role is a strong fit for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and takes accountability seriously. There's room to grow into broader repair and service work for clinics, hospitals, and physical therapy facilities.What You'll Do:
Field & some Service, inspect, and repair medical and therapy equipment in all types of facilities •Must be able to service and inspect medical equipment in Nursing Homes •Deliver and set up equipment for clinics, nursing homes, schools, physical therapy centers, and hospitals Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and general repairs Work hands-on with a supportive team in real-world healthcare environmentsRequirements:
Valid Driver's License (Required) Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs Knowledge of basic tools and electrical meters Strong electro-mechanical skills and mechanical aptitude Service or repair experience in the medical equipment industry required Good communication skills — we work directly with healthcare professionals! Associate's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (or related field) a plusFacilities We Serve:

Experience in medical equipment repair, medical device service, or as a field service technician is highly valued. Candidates with a background as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) or related roles are encouraged to apply, but we also provide training for motivated individuals with mechanical, electrical, or technical repair experience.
