Company car and phone provided. Must be able and willing to travel multiple times throughout the week with occasional overnights . Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level Biomedical Technician Assistant! In this energetic role, you will support the maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in biomedical technology, working closely with seasoned technicians and healthcare professionals. Your enthusiasm and mechanical aptitude will help keep vital medical devices functioning smoothly, directly impacting patient care and clinical workflows. Responsibilities Assist with routine maintenance and calibration of medical equipment using schematics and technical manuals Support senior technicians in troubleshooting equipment issues by utilizing hand tools and computer hardware Help perform equipment repairs, ensuring compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications Maintain accurate records of service activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Learn to interpret schematics and mechanical drawings for diagnostics and repairs Participate in field service activities by supporting on-site equipment inspections and repairs at healthcare facilities Aid in the documentation of calibration procedures, maintenance logs, and repair reports to ensure regulatory compliance Skills Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools and schematics Strong interest in medical device maintenance, calibration, and repair processes Ability to learn quickly about OEM specifications and equipment repair techniques Comfortable working with computer hardware, CMMS software, and diagnostic tools Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and healthcare staff Willingness to develop field service skills through hands-on experience in diverse clinical environments Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) standards is a plus but not required; training provided Embark on a rewarding journey supporting vital healthcare technology!
