You will manage the lifecycle of returned medical devices, ensuring they meet rigorous quality standards while maintaining precise inventory levels to support seamless operations. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and restore functionality to returned medical equipment, ensuring all repairs meet strict quality benchmarks. Maintain comprehensive service records and documentation to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards like ISO 13485 and
FDA 21 CFR
Part 820. Oversee the end-to-end management of device and component inventory to ensure parts availability and operational efficiency. Execute preventive maintenance and calibration protocols to maximize the longevity and performance of clinical equipment. Provide expert technical guidance to customers, helping them resolve maintenance issues and improving their overall user experience. Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics and customer support teams to optimize turnaround times and repair yields. Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in electromechanical repair or medical device servicing. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data reporting tools for trend analysis. Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks in a workshop setting. Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail. Preferred Skills Specific experience with respiratory medical devices. Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance in a healthcare environment. Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical information for diverse audiences.
