In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating complex medical devices used in dialysis treatment. MUST HAVE LEVEL I
Fresenius Certificate Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on dialysis machines and related biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools, then execute repairs efficiently. Calibrate devices according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards to maintain accuracy and safety. Utilize computer hardware and specialized CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document maintenance activities, track service histories, and schedule future inspections. Conduct field service visits to various clinical sites, providing on-site repairs and technical support for dialysis equipment. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and inspections in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment needs and provide training on proper device operation and troubleshooting procedures. Stay current with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) updates, technical bulletins, and industry best practices to ensure the highest standards of service. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance. Experience working with OEM specifications and performing calibration procedures on medical devices. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems. Ability to operate computer hardware effectively within CMMS platforms for documentation and scheduling. Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) standards and regulatory requirements relevant to dialysis devices. Hands-on experience in field service environments, demonstrating adaptability across different clinical settings. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Strong communication skills to coordinate with clinical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders effectively.
