BR Clinical Services Management Job Posting Description Position Summary/ Department Summary:
Performs routine repairs and preventative maintenance inspections/calibrations on a broad range of electromechanical medical equipment. Services some complex and high-risk equipment with guidance from more senior technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs routine repairs on a broad range of electromechanical medical equipment using basic test equipment and repair tools. Prepares and maintains related documentation. Performs preventative maintenance testing of routine electromechanical medical equipment according to established procedures. Understands medical device regulations and ensures assigned medical devices are managed in compliance with those regulations. Participates in inspection tours of clinical and/or research areas using medical equipment. Documents all service actions and complies with documentation guidelines and metrics defined in department policy. Builds and maintains customer relationships and independently manages clinical resource area(s). Acts as a technical resource for clinical customer base. Consults and collaborates with peers to resolve outstanding issues. Provides excellent customer service, defining problems, developing solutions, and performing follow-up. Keeps customers apprised of statuses and estimated completion dates.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is required. Occupationally specific education or Biomedical Engineering or a closely related area of study is required.
