Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical imaging equipment such as MRI, CT, and Ultrasound machines. Document service performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols. Work closely with healthcare professionals to assess equipment performance and reliability. Provide troubleshooting support and technical assistance for medical imaging systems. Assist in developing and implementing equipment management programs. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in biomedical engineering. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Associate's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with medical imaging equipment. Strong understanding of medical imaging technologies, including MRI, CT, and Ultrasound. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and engineering teams. Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO). Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to successfully clear a Tier-1 (Public Trust) background investigation. Preferred Qualifications A valid biomedical equipment technician certification (e.g., CBET). Travel Requirements Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
