About the Role Join our team as a Mobile Medical Equipment Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring surgical teams have the precision tools necessary for life-saving procedures. This field-based position allows you to travel to healthcare facilities, providing essential maintenance and restoration services that directly impact patient care outcomes. Responsibilities Execute precision repairs and sharpening on a variety of surgical instruments using specialized grinding, buffing, and soldering equipment. Conduct thorough inspections of medical hardware to identify wear and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. Collaborate with a partner technician to manage onsite service requests, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality repairs. Utilize hand and power tools with high manual dexterity to restore equipment functionality to factory specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of service activities and equipment status to ensure accurate record-keeping for our healthcare partners. Manage mobile inventory and equipment maintenance to ensure the service vehicle is always prepared for daily operations. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in mechanical repair, assembly, or technical maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet DOT physical requirements. Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with interstate travel regulations. Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including early starts and occasional overnight travel. Preferred Skills Prior experience in fields such as electronics repair, small engine maintenance, or precision manufacturing. Demonstrated aptitude for learning complex technical processes through hands-on training. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
