About the Role As a Field Biomedical Equipment Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient quality of life by ensuring that essential medical devices are functioning optimally. You will leverage your technical expertise and mechanical aptitude to manage the lifecycle of home-use medical equipment while providing compassionate support to patients and their families. Responsibilities Execute the delivery, assembly, and precise installation of medical devices to ensure patient readiness. Conduct routine diagnostic inspections, preventative maintenance, and technical troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. Empower patients and caregivers by providing clear, empathetic instruction on the safe and effective operation of their medical devices. Maintain high standards of documentation accuracy to ensure regulatory compliance and seamless service records. Uphold professional standards by maintaining a pristine, organized service vehicle and equipment inventory. Deliver a superior service experience that reflects a commitment to patient care and operational excellence. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent educational background. Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history. Physical capability to lift, maneuver, and transport equipment weighing up to 75 pounds. Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and communicate complex information clearly. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a mechanical, technical, or field service role. Background in healthcare support or direct experience working with elderly populations. Proven track record in customer-facing roles requiring patience and empathy.
