  • Lincoln, NE My client, a large and reputable service organization, is looking for a Biomedical Technician II in the Lincoln, NE area. In this new role, you will be servicing general biomedical equipment at Bryan Hospital. This is a daytime position, Monday
  • Friday, with a little travel locally as necessary to other sites in the area. Mileage reimbursement will be paid for. Qualifications 1
  • 4+ years of general of general biomedical service experience working on EKG machines, defibrillators, ventilators, patient monitoring equipment, IV pumps, etc.
Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineer or Biomedical Equipment Technology. Alternative qualifications include equivalent military training, CBET, BMET or CABT with one year of experience in the field. Must have a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Basic computer skills, understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing. Willing to work flexible hours as necessary to accommodate the customer's needs. Able to lift and/or push up to 30
  • 60 pounds.
Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, knee/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, residents, staff and the broader healthcare community. Perform assigned duties, such as equipment inspection, PM maintenance, installations, repairs, adjustments, calibrations and safety testing of general biomedical equipment. Has good organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
