Compensation Range:
$40.16- $56.23 _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
Responsibilities:
- Independently is responsible for service on imaging equipment and radiation oncology therapy systems including but not limited to: x-ray, ultrasound, computed radiology equipment, mammography, nuclear medicine, angio/cath, CAT scanners, linear accelerators, and MRI scanners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- + Performs safety/preventive maintenance inspections and services clinical imaging equipment to determine operational status and compliance with manufacturers and industry technical standards and specifications.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- + High School diploma or GED and 4 years of directly related experience in a hospital or health care setting or equivalent training and experience in the military, biomedical and imaging areas required + Associate's degree in Electronic or Instrumentation Technology with particular focus on Biomedical Engineering Technology preferred + Or equivalent combination of education and experience + Basic computer skills preferred + Advanced networking and system integrations preferred + Able to read schematics and mechanical diagrams preferred + DL NUMBER•Driver License, Valid and in State (New York State) with means of transportation to service off-site locations upon hire required •
