About enBio enBio is a nationwide Healthcare Technology Management company delivering biomedical engineering services, hospital bed and gurney support, healthcare staffing, regulatory readiness consulting, strategic capital planning, and facility services. Bio Med Level II is responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned medical equipment. Performs various tasks associated with installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of clinical equipment with minimal supervision. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the job and an intermediate level of expertise. The Bio Med Level 2 is capable of assisting less experienced technicians.

Core Responsibilities:
To perform this role successfully, the individual must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs. Full understanding of medical equipment, human anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology. Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques to perform equipment repairs. Ability to perform preventive maintenance procedures on medium risk equipment and a limited number of high-risk medical devices.
Specifically possess the following skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and apply a great variety of technical data such as schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, table charts, mathematical expressions and formulas. Ability to learn equipment maintenance, operating procedures, and repair procedures from training materials, courses, and/or manufacturer service literature. Fundamental knowledge of electronics to include analog, digital and microprocessor theory, pneumatics, hydraulics, optics, electro-mechanics, physics, basic networking, and chemistry. Knowledge of the use of standard level test equipment to include, but not limited to, multimeters, electrical safety analyzers, patient simulator, storage oscilloscopes, manometers, tachometers, etc. Possess the skill to utilize tools and test equipment required for job duties and responsibilities. Adherence to confidentiality requirements and safeguarding of protected health information (PHI). Competent in using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for documentation. Intermediate knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to medical equipment management.

Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred. Certificate in Biomedical Technology. Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical equipment service, with at least 1 years in a leadership or senior technician role. Technical Skills & Abilities Advanced knowledge of biomedical instrumentation, electronic theory, and diagnostic tools. Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating medical devices. Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., EOC, Joint Commission, NFPA) and compliance protocols. Strong IT literacy including CMMS platforms, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with equipment service. Willingness to travel overnight as needed. Leadership & Communication Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across clinical and technical teams. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop field technicians. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure. Commitment to a customer-first service model and continuous improvement. Working Conditions Field-based role with regular travel to healthcare facilities. Exposure to clinical environments and associated hazards (e.g., electrical, chemical, infectious agents).
