Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Specialist to join our dedicated healthcare support team. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, maintenance, repair, of a wide range of durable medical equipment used in patient care including platform lifts, stair glides, ramps, grab bars, and related mobility and accessibility products. The technician ensures that all installations are safe. meet regulatory and manufacturer standards, and provide optimal functionality for clients. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Install, maintian, and repair vertical platform lifts, stair glides, ramps, and grap bars in residential and commercial settings. Perform delivery set-up and demonstration of DME equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, scooters, and patient lifts. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on all installed equipment. Ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA, and manufacturer safety standards. Document service and installation activities accurately using company systens and software. Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcre professionals regarding equipment usage and maintenance. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in good working order. Provide exceptional customer service and represent Marx Medical Equipment in a professional manner at all times. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred. Experience with installation or repair of mechanical or electrical equipment preferred. Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, and construction principles. Strong problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to work in a variety of environments (Indoor/outdoor, residential, commercial) Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Excellent communication and customer service skills Clean background - background checks will be conducted We off competitive pay, based on experience as well has health, dental, and vision insurance. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
