Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sterilizer and Medical Equipment Technician based in South Louisiana. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating sterilization equipment across healthcare facilities, along with other equipment when applicable. Duties include conducting routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate service records. The technicianwill also provide client support, training on equipment use, and guidance on maintaining operational standards. Qualifications Technical skills in equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing malfunctions and troubleshooting Knowledge of sterilization processes and healthcare equipment compliance standards Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide clear guidance and client support Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites across
South Louisiana Preferred:
Certificate or training in medical or industrial equipment repair, or equivalent experience
Pay:
$20.00 - $29.00 per hour
