Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart or advance your career in biomedical technology? Join our team as a Biomedical Technician, where you'll receive on-the-job training and support from leading manufacturers. This role focuses on the service and repair of a broad range of medical equipment, including sterilizers and anesthesia machines, primarily within ambulatory surgery centers. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of medical equipment, with a focus on sterilizers and anesthesia machines. Ensure all equipment meets necessary safety and performance standards. Conduct regular preventive maintenance and calibration of medical equipment. Perform biomedical inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Train and support clinical staff on the proper use of equipment. Manage service records and documentation of all maintenance activities. Provide on-call technical support and perform emergency repairs as needed. Adhere to national and international standards for medical equipment safety and performance. Travel to various sites for repairs, installations, and routine service as needed. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (over 50% of the time). Basic technical skills and a keen interest in biomedical equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with medical staff and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. Desired Skills Any certification or hands-on experience with biomedical equipment (e.g., Mindray, GE, Primus, Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer) is a plus. Experience with software and hardware integration in medical devices. Knowledge of current medical device regulations and compliance requirements.
