Position:
Medical Equipment Technician Shift available: Friday- Monday 8:30 AM - 7 PM This is a weekend shift What you'll do: As a medical equipment technician, you will drive a company vehicle to patient's homes, hospitals, or nursing homes where you will set up medical equipment and instruct the patient on how to use the equipment. The equipment you will be setting up will include: Manual Wheelchairs Group One Support Surface Adjustable Beds and Accessories Trapeze bars Ambulatory aids Canes Crutches Walkers Wheeled Walkers Rollators Bathroom aids Tub transfer benches Shower benches
Grab Bars In Depth:
Infection control and PPE Stock the delivery vehicle before each delivery Participate in Improvement of Operational Performance (IOP) activities Complete vehicle pre-trip inspection Patient rights and HIPPA education Complete patient home evaluations Care planning return demonstration Safe and effective use of equipment Educate patients on safe and effective use of their equipment Complete equipment delivery and setup Complete equipment pickups Complete intake information Complete paperwork Collect copays and deductibles, if necessary Maintain inside and outside of delivery vehicle On call duties on a rotating predetermined schedule Troubleshoot equipment per manufacturer guidelines Interact with patients that are a range of ages from childhood to late adulthood
Measurements:
Routes Completed Efficiently Customer Satisfaction Your qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Driver's License Minimum one year of professional box truck experience
