Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Medical Equipment Technician and become a vital part of ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of essential medical devices. In this role, you will perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide range of medical equipment to support high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated technicians eager to apply their mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties Conduct routine maintenance and preventive inspections on diverse medical devices such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment). Perform calibration procedures to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, computer and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Deliver and set up medical equipment in facilities as well as homes. Assist in training staff on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting techniques to promote safety and efficiency. One week per month mandatory after hours on-call, which includes additional compensation. The week runs from Thursday @ 5:00pm until the following Thursday @ 8:30am Experience Some knowledge of medical equipment preferred. Willingness to learn different medical equipment devices Strong work ethic and able to perform in a fast-paced setting. Ability to operate hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and basic computer hardware for troubleshooting purposes. Understanding of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance tasks. Pay:
