Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Biomedical Technician, where your technical expertise and passion for healthcare technology will make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating a wide range of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will support healthcare providers by ensuring that all biomedical devices operate reliably and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to advancing medical technology and improving patient outcomes. Duties Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical devices using schematics, technical manuals, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines. Conduct field service visits to patient homes to repair and service equipment on-site. Utilize hand tools and computer hardware to diagnose issues, replace components, and restore equipment functionality in addition to reading and evaluating water testing to EPA standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration procedures within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Interpret schematics and technical documentation to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure equipment meets safety standards and regulatory compliance (DME - Durable Medical Equipment). Assist in the installation of new biomedical equipment, ensuring proper setup according to manufacturer specifications. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Familiarity with OEM parts, schematics, calibration procedures, and technical manuals. Hands-on experience with field service operations in healthcare or related environments. Must be able to travel to patient homes in personal vehicle and have space for home dialysis equipment. Ability to use hand tools effectively for repairs and adjustments. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Strong understanding of computer hardware systems related to medical devices. Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Pay:
$25.13 - $30.26 per hour
