Role Overview:
This Senior BMET position will support a hospital environment, performing planned maintenance, inspections, calibrations, troubleshooting, and repair across general and high risk biomedical equipment. Equipment may include infusion pumps, patient monitoring systems, defibrillators, EKG machines, operating room equipment, ventilators, anesthesia machines, and other clinical devices. The role is site based in Houston with no regular travel required and will involve maintaining accurate service records, supporting inventory control, and assisting junior technicians when needed.
Key Requirements:
5 or more years of hands on biomedical equipment experience in a hospital or clinical setting Strong experience with high risk biomedical equipment and general patient care devices Confident troubleshooting electromechanical and computerized medical equipment Technical degree or equivalent experience required CBET certification preferred Knowledge of TJC, DNV, DOH, CAP, OSHA, and medical equipment management standards Based in or able to commute to
