This position maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan. Performs a wide variety of tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:
Requires in-depth professional knowledge and practical/applied expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines within the broader professional field Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; demonstrates awareness of the industry, including regulatory, evolving customer demands, and the factors that differentiate the organization in the market Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements Solves complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policiesHow You'll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years hospital environment experience required At least 3 years hospital environment experience preferredEDUCATION
Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience Two-year Associate of Science degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics or equivalent Military training and experience requiredLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must obtain Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification within 18 months of hire. 1 1/2 Yrs required Valid unrestricted driver's license and proof of insurance required A Place Where You Belong We put our people first.
