Job Description

Concergix is a leading provider of concierge Hospice DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Solutions. Our mission-driven approach focuses on providing exceptional service and support to our clients in the hospice and palliative care sector.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled DME Technician to join our team. The DME Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of durable medical equipment for our hospice and palliative care clients. This position requires strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our partners.
Responsibilities:
Properly stock delivery vehicles and prepare daily routes for efficiency Conduct equipment assessments, repairs, and maintenance as needed to ensure optimal functionality. Perform equipment setups and installations at patient residences according to established protocols and guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure adequate stock of medical equipment. Provide training and support to patients and caregivers on the proper/safe use and care of durable medical equipment. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, repairs, and service requests. Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and resolve any equipment-related issues promptly. Perform the proper cleaning, disinfecting and maintenance to DME items both in the local distribution center and in the field. Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and procedures while operating company vehicles, handling and servicing medical equipment. Must be available for on-call (afterhours and weekends) shifts at least once per month. On-call shifts are compensated accordingly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in medical equipment repair or related field preferred. Prior experience in DME operations, equipment maintenance, or healthcare settings is desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and personal drive for helping others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality service to clients. Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a daily basis
