Compensation:

About the Role Serve as a senior, hands-on field technician supporting biomedical equipment Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair at customer sites Act as a technical leader in the field with opportunity to grow into management Work independently while supporting a small team of technicians Key Responsibilities Perform onsite calibration, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment Travel daily to hospitals, labs, and medical facilities Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records Manage tools, parts, and company vehicle inventory Communicate directly with customers to coordinate service Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians Growth Opportunity Opportunity to grow into a leadership role overseeing field technicians Potential to take on full responsibility for managing field operations and technician performance Act as a key partner to leadership in scaling and supporting the field team Training 1-3 month ramp-up Shadowing experienced technicians Gradual transition to independent work Qualifications 3+ years of experience in: Biomedical equipment, OR Calibration / metrology, OR Electro-mechanical field service Strong hands-on technical ability Comfortable working independently in the field Valid driver's license Preferred (Not Required) Technical degree, trade school, or engineering background Prior experience in hospitals or labs Leadership or mentoring experience Key Traits Strong work ethic and ownership mentality Hands-on, problem-solving mindset Comfortable with autonomy and travel Willingness to step up and lead by example Basic computer and documentation skills Travel Details Daily travel within ~2-hour radius of Virginia Beach (Richmond, NC, surrounding areas) Benefits Bonus opportunities Partial ownership of SSA 401(k) with employer match Medical (100% covered), Dental, Vision Short-term and long-term disability benefits Company vehicle H.S.A. plans available Generous paid time off, holidays, and sick days Company gear Provided equipment and tools
