About the Role Are you a mechanically-inclined individual who thrives on hands-on work? As an Equipment Service Technician, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the optimal performance of crucial medical equipment. Your expertise in troubleshooting and repair will directly impact customer satisfaction and contribute to a healthier world. Individuals with experience working in HVAC repair, Mechanics, Maintenance, Refrigeration, Boilers, Chillers, Equipment Repair, Diesel and Automotive Repair, Aviation Repair, Plumbing, Electrical, etc. are often successful. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in medical equipment, systems, and components, ensuring minimal downtime. Independently manage your schedule to address customer needs, including preventive maintenance, service calls, and equipment installations. Collaborate with technical support and engineering teams to escalate complex issues and implement effective solutions. Provide customers with clear explanations of repair options and pricing, fostering trust and building strong relationships. Identify and pursue sales opportunities within your assigned territory, contributing to revenue growth. Maintain accurate records of all service activities, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a mechanical/technical role. Valid driver's license and ability to meet background and physical assessment requirements for vendor credentialing. Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Proficiency in written and verbal communication. Basic computer skills, including MS Windows, email, and mobile applications. Preferred Skills Associates degree or related certifications in a technical/mechanical field. Experience with equipment training or related military experience. Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including potential overnights and early/late hours.
