Job Description

Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of sterilization and decontamination equipment Provide hands-on support for sterilization equipment and associated systems (machines; not instruments) Perform planned preventive maintenance inspections and diagnostics Conduct performance testing, calibrations, and sterilization cycle verification support Execute corrective maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications Support backlog reduction of sterilization and decontamination equipment work orders Partner with Clinical Engineering leadership to minimize downtime and clinical disruption Float between First Hill and Cherry Hill campuses as operational needs dictate Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with Steris sterilizer equipment (required) Hospital-based Clinical Engineering / Biomed background Experience supporting sterilization and decontamination equipment in acute-care settings Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
