Network Registrar Alabama State Department of Education - 4.5 Birmingham, AL Job Details 16 hours ago Qualifications Student record keeping Student database management Student information system Data quality management Team training Compliance documentation Educational compliance and regulation understanding Full Job Description Network Registrar The Network Registrar serves as the lead enrollment and student data manager for the i3 Network, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all schools. This role oversees district-wide registration processes, the annual lottery and enrollment process, and provides training and guidance to school-level office managers and registrars. The Network Registrar ensures that student information systems operate with precision and that all schools adhere to established State of Alabama reporting, and compliance standards. Reports To Director of Operations Key Responsibilities Student Information System Management — Ensure all school-level student data is accurately entered, maintained, and audited within PowerSchool to support compliance, reporting, and instructional needs. Lottery & School Enrollment Coordination — Lead the network's lottery and enrollment processes, ensuring transparent, timely, and compliant execution across all three schools. Scheduling & Reporting — Assist school level office managers with creating student schedules and generate student reports, including report cards and other required documentation. Network-Wide Training & Support — Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to school-level office managers and registrars to ensure consistent practices across the i3 Network. Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in school operations, data management, or registrar functions. Proficiency with PowerSchool and standard office software. Demonstrated ability to maintain precise, compliant student records. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and support staff across multiple campuses. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with prospective families regarding lottery, enrollment, and registration processes. Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, deadlines, and school-level needs while maintaining high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications School Experience — Prior experience as a registrar, data manager, or school operations leader. Enrollment & Lottery Knowledge — Familiarity with school choice, lottery systems, and enrollment compliance.
