JOB SUMMARY
The Registry Coordinator at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for coordinating national registry activities and providing overall clinical support. This role collaborates with the Registry Supervisor and/or Manager and requires an experienced healthcare professional with excellent organizational and communication skills to accurately and efficiently collect, analyze, and store data, interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and remain flexible and adaptable to support various department needs to ensure up-to-date registry maintenance and drive optimal institute operations and care.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Registry:
Coordinates and participates in the collection of clinical data for the national database; maintains confidential records on all patient information and files. Assists in planning, organizing and implementation of the registry information system and data submission software as it relates to the registry information. Maintains sole responsibility for the collection, submission and integrity of registry data. Works with the appropriate departments, providers and leadership teams to improve performance in registry elements. Analyze data and coordinate presentation of the data to the physician groups. Works on special projects, program development, and clinical education for the department. Analyze data collected into and using Monthly Report Assist with performance improvements Follow ups for our referring facilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Associate's Degree Nursing, Radiology, or other clinical related field. Required Bachelor's Degree . Preferred Licenses and Certifications RN
- Registered Nurse
- State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
PARAMEDIC
- Paramedic
- Licensed ARRT
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RRT
- Registered Respiratory Therapist Work Experience 4-6 years Knowledge Skills and Abilities Must possess strong organizational skills.
Must possess superior skills in data management, PC skills, clinical knowledge in registry. Must have the ability to work with physician groups to achieve stated objective of developing registry. Must be able to work independently to collect and submit registry data in a given time frame. Must have the ability to work with various levels of physicians and staff to achieve stated objectives. Must make decisions, initiate action and answer questions based on administrative and clinical policies and procedures. Must be able to take a project from an idea to reality in a given time frame. Must interact daily with administrative team, physicians, staff, families, and visitors. Must possess a harmonious attitude which is conducive to teamwork and cooperation. Must engage in teamwork; it is essential and expected. Must possess the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
