Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent) ARRT certification preferred Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience in an acute care setting Proficiency with imaging equipment and sterile technique Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety and quality images Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort Uphold strict adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate patient documentation and procedure records
