Active ARRT certification Basic Life Support (BLS) & ACLS Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within modalityAbout The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Cath Lab & Body Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to support leading healthcare facilities across the United States. This role is responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and body procedures while ensuring patient safety, procedural efficiency, and high-quality imaging. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with rotating assignments.Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures including: Coronary angiography PCI (stents, balloons) Peripheral interventions Thrombectomy TAVR support (if applicable) Assist with Body IR procedures including: Embolizations Drain placements Biopsies Nephrostomy tube placement Port placements Paracentesis / thoracentesis Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and angiography equipment (GE, Philips, Siemens preferred) Scrub, circulate, and monitor cases as required Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures Monitor patient hemodynamic status and respond appropriately Ensure radiation safety standards are met Accurately document procedural details Participate in on-call rotation (varies by assignment) Why Join Us?
